Vindu Dara Singh had shared his reflections on his divorce from Farah Naaz, known for her role in Naseeb Apna Apna. During a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Vindu revealed a poignant piece of advice from his late father, the legendary actor Dara Singh. He cautioned Vindu to carefully consider marrying someone from a different religion, emphasizing the complexities that can arise from such unions.
Reflecting on his father’s wisdom, Vindu shared that his dad always offered sound advice.He recalled being in love with Farah and planning to marry her when his father urged him to think carefully. He warned that marrying someone from a different religion—Hindu and Muslim—could pose challenges. Despite his father’s concerns, Vindu felt confident in their love, believing that their bond transcended religious differences.

He further reflected on his father’s words, acknowledging that they rang true over time. He realized that when religion is involved, dynamics can shift. He explained that if one partner becomes more religious after marriage, it can create difficulties for the other, leading to conflicts due to their differing backgrounds.

Vindu acknowledged that his marriage had its ups and downs. He recalled his father’s advice and noted the beautiful memories he created with Farah Naaz, including their wonderful son, Fateh Randhawa. While he recognized the challenges that came with their union, he cherished the brilliant years they spent together and felt grateful for having such a lovely son, whom he described as a true darling.

Dara Singh shared that initially, Farah Naaz didn’t seem to care about her religion. He recalled that she even smoked, which was uncommon in their family. After he suggested she quit smoking, she made a deal: if he sent her for Hajj, she would stop. He arranged everything for her pilgrimage, and upon her return, he noticed a significant change in her demeanor. It was at that moment he remembered his father’s advice. From there, their relationship began to decline, but he accepted it as part of their journey.
Vindu Dara Singh revealed that following their divorce, Farah Naaz restricted him from seeing their son for six months due to ongoing disputes. However, he mentioned that his approach to life involves letting go of past issues each day. Eventually, Farah reached out to him after a few months, leading to a resolution of their differences. He praised her, describing her as a wonderful woman and an excellent mother.
