Masaba Gupta recently welcomed her first baby with husband Satyadeep Misra, and the news received a lot of love and well-wishes from fans and celebrities. Neena Gupta has now revealed that her daughter always wanted a baby girl. She also shared Masaba’s first reaction upon learning it was a girl.
In a recent interview with NDTV, Neena Gupta said that Masaba always wanted a baby girl and, after receiving the news, reacted, “Thank God.She can use all my bags and jewelry.”
Neena also mentioned that after becoming a grandmother, she is more concerned about Masaba’s postpartum recovery and health. She added that their focus is more on the well-being of the baby and mother than the emotional significance of the moment.
Earlier, Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Misra took to Instagram to share the joyful news: “Our very special little girl arrived on a very special day. 11.10.2024 Masaba & Satyadeep.” The couple welcomed their daughter on International Girl Child Day.

On the work front, Neena Gupta is gearing up for the release of her Malayalam OTT series, ‘1000 Babies,’ on October 18. Directed by Najeem Koya, the series also stars Rahman, Sanju Sivaram, Ashwin Kumar, Adil Ibrahim, and others in key roles. It will be available on Disney+ Hotstar.
