Rajkummar Rao and ‘Inception’ actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt dance to ‘Aayi Nai’ from ‘Stree 2’

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, an Emmy-winning American actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur, has captivated audiences with his roles in ‘Inception’, ‘500 Days of Summer’, and ‘Looper’ shared the stage with ‘Stree 2’ star Rajkummar Rao in Mumbai, creating memorable moments. But the one which stood out was when both the actors danced on ‘Aayi Nai’ from ‘Stree 2‘.
Hollywood star Joseph Gordon-Levitt is currently in India as one of the key speakers at the Indian Film Project (IFP) in Mumbai.During an engaging session with Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, the atmosphere turned lively when Rajkummar decided to teach Joseph some classic Bollywood dance moves.
The duo performed to the popular song ‘Aayi Nai”, which has been trending since its release. This song features Shraddha Kapoor along with a talented cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.
Joseph enthusiastically joined Rajkummar for a spontaneous Bollywood-style jig on stage, much to the delight of the audience. Before attempting the choreography, he expressed his eagerness by saying, “This is what I wanted.” This moment highlighted not only their camaraderie but also the cultural exchange between Hollywood and Bollywood.
In another fun segment, Gordon-Levitt showcased his adaptability by trying garba, a traditional dance form from Gujarat. He danced to ‘Chogada Tara’ from the film ‘Loveyatri‘, originally featuring Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain. His willingness to embrace Indian culture was evident as he engaged with the rhythms and movements of these popular dance forms.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is not just an accomplished actor; he is also a filmmaker and entrepreneur. He has made significant contributions to cinema with films like ‘Don Jon’, which he wrote and directed, showcasing his ability to blend storytelling with personal narratives. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is currently busy his new film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video,’ co-starring Triptii Dimri. On its opening day, the film earned approximately Rs 5 crore, showcasing a decent start despite mixed reviews and competition from Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’ during the Dussehra weekend.
