There’s a new update about Akshay Kumar‘s highly-anticipated action-drama ‘Sky Force‘!
The upcoming film, also starring Sara Ali Khan, Veer Pahariya, and Nimrat Kaur, is reportedly eyeing a Republic Day 2025 release. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, the film produced by Dinesh Vijan, is reportedly getting the film ready well in time for the long holiday weekend.
According to reports, ‘Sky Force’, which is inspired by India’s first airstrike on Pakistan, is believed to be the perfect fit for the Republic Day weekend with its action, drama and heavy dose of patriotism.The film is said to feature breathtaking visuals with some epic VFX handled by DNEG, a company known for its Oscar Award-winning work.With reports stating that the film is being locked for a January 24, 2025 release, Pinkvilla states that fans can expect the first trailer to arrive during the Christmas holiday season.
This will be the first Akshay-starrer to release in six months after back-to-back failures at the box office. He will also be seen in the Rohit Shetty multi-starrer, ‘Singham Again‘, however, in a supporting role alongside Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor.
Meanwhile, rumours are rife that the will will likely clash with the release of Sunny Deol‘s highly anticipated film ‘Jatt‘ with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni. The action movie is also reportedly eyeing a Republic Day 2025 release.
