Ananya Panday recently shared her admiration for her bestie Suhana’s dad and Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, highlighting his role as a supportive figure in her life and the lives of his children. Ananya, recalled how the superstar would assist her, Suhana, and Shanaya Kapoor with their homework and other activities.
SRK has maintained a close friendship with Ananya’s family over the years. Despite his immense fame, Ananya described him as “the definition of an emotionally available man.” In a conversation with Raj Shamani on his YouTube channel, she expressed that SRK’s charisma sets him apart. “It’s that charisma thing. When you are the king but you can still make everybody feel like they’re the king,” she said, emphasising his ability to connect with those around him.
Ananya praised Shah Rukh for his authenticity and openness. She noted that he has always been genuine in expressing his emotions. “If you watch his old interviews, he has never been some cookie-cutter, formulaic thing. He has always spoken his mind,” she remarked. This transparency has allowed fans and friends alike to witness all facets of his personality—his anger, joy, and vulnerability.The actress also commended Shah Rukh’s dedication as a father to his three children—Suhana, Aryan, and AbRam Khan. Despite his busy schedule, he prioritises quality time with them for their education and extracurricular activities.
Ananya further shared fond memories of SRK attending every sports day event and even practicing sports with them. “He’s come for every single sports day of ours,” she recalled. “He taught me for my relay races, practiced taekwondo with us, taught me and Shanaya how to ride a bike, played football with us, and helped us with our homework.” She emphasised that any problem they faced was met with his support.

Ananya further highlighted Shah Rukh’s respect for women both in his films and personal life. This respect has made a significant impact on young women like herself and Suhana. “You can’t fake it after a point; that’s just who he is as a person,” she stated.
