In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Anasuya shared that the visit happened in 2012 when she was relatively new to Mumbai.

At the time, she had formed a lasting friendship with Australian actor Joel Edgerton while working as a director’s assistant on her first film, The Waiting City.“Joel was magnanimous, generous, and a beautiful human being, so even though I had a small role on set, the friendship stayed,” she said. Joel, who was visiting Mumbai, invited her to join him for a screening.
Recounting the event, Anasuya said, “I wasn’t fully aware of the plan, but I tagged along. When the car stopped, I saw a board that read ‘Mannat.’ I panicked and got right back into the car. I was in a very unimpressive dress and told Joel I couldn’t go. But eventually, I did, and SRK was there to greet us. He was just magical.”
Anasuya described the experience as surreal and said she spent hours at Mannat in awe of SRK’s charisma. “I was messaging my best friends and brother, and they all insisted I take photos of him and the house.”
Joining the conversation, actor Raghav Juyal, who was also present, shared his own story about visiting Mannat for the first time. He recalled his mother’s disbelief, saying, “She asked me thrice if I had gone.”
On the work front, Anasuya was last seen in ‘The Shameless’ where she played the character Renuka.
