Malayalam actor Baiju Ezhupunna’s brother Shelju Jonappan Moolakkuzhi passed away at the age of 49.
According to Manorama Online, Shelju passed away due to a heart attack, and the funeral will be held on November 27 at 4 PM at St. Sebastian’s Church.

Politician AM Ariff shared the news regarding Shelju’s demise. Ariff’s Facebook note in Malayalam translates, “Beloved Jonappan Chettan’s son, Shelju. Over the past twenty years, I shared a deep and affectionate bond with Shelju. In Jonappan Chettan’s family, Shelju and his brother Baiju were both very dear to me. Shelju’s departure was sudden and unexpected. Heartfelt condolences.”

Meanwhile, Baiju Ezhupunna has appeared in several Malayalam movies, majorly in antagonist and comedy roles. He started his acting debut with the comedy film ‘Irikku MD Akathundu’ which hit the big screens in 1991 and was directed by PG Vishwamharan.
Baiju later played pivotal roles in ‘First Bell’, ‘Hitler Brothers’, ‘Vamsam’, ‘Pathram’, ‘Auto Brothers’, ‘My Dear Karady’, ‘Udayapuram Sulthan’, ‘James Bond’, ‘Vellinakshatram’, ‘Pachakuthira’ and many others. Baiju’s recent outing was with the feel-good drama movie ‘Vishesham’ which was directed by Sooraj Thomas with Anand Madhusoodanan in the lead. Baiju has also donned the director’s cap for the film ‘KQ’ which was released in the year 2013.
Recently Baiju Ezhupunna’s daughter Aneeta tied the knot with Stephan. Several popular celebs including Mammootty attended the grand wedding.
