Real estate is a booming industry, and it has caught the attention of not just property shareholders but Bollywood stars who look for a lavish space to live in or are on a quest for a perfect asset to invest in. Recently, a Mumbai-based penthouse has caught the attention of the biggest Bollywood stars.
Sprawling over 16,000 square feet, the penthouse is priced at a staggering Rs 120 crore. It is located in the upscale Lower Parel area. The said property has six bedrooms, a glass-walled elevator, a rooftop pool, and a gym. In other words, it has all the high-end amenities. In addition, there is a parking that can have up to eight vehicles.
Despite being such a high-end real property and Bollywood biggies showing their keen interest in it, the penthouse continues to sit empty. The reason is that the owner of the lavish penthouse is not looking for a man who can bid the highest, he is looking for a man with an impressive social standing and spotless public image, and someone who can blend in with the neighborhood.
According to a Bloomberg report, Nishant Agarwal, the penthouse’s owner, explained, “This property cannot be purchased simply with money. We need to ensure that the buyer is the right person.”
Agarwal has the most efficient and effective team for the sale of the penthouse, including celebrity real estate broker Ravi Kewalramani. The team has been asked to run thorough background checks, which include office visits, and reviewing financial and social status.
Speaking on the strict selection criteria, Kewalramani confirmed that even Bollywood’s biggest stars did not pass the screening process. “We want a family that can integrate well with the neighbours, someone who is humble and doesn’t flaunt their wealth,” he said.
So now everyone is looking forward to seeing who passes the test and owns the luxurious property.
