The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test or CTET 2024 admit card soon. The board will make the hall ticket link available on ctet.nic.in.

The CBSE is unlikely to officially confirm the release date and time for the admit cards, while its official bulletin states, “The dates for downloading admit card will be available on CTET website.”

Going by the earlier trends, the board usually releases the hall ticket a few days before the examination. But it will release the CTET 2024 city intimation slip before that.

Last month, the CBSE said that the CTET 2024 exam would be conducted on December 14 (Saturday), instead of the earlier announced date of December 15 when a few competitive examinations are scheduled to take place across multiple states and Union Territories.

“Keeping in view the interest of the candidates, it has been decided to conduct the CTET examination on 14th December 2024 (Saturday). In case several candidates are in any city, the exam may also be conducted on 15th December 2024 (Sunday),” read the public notice.

CTET Admit Card 2024: How to download?

Here’s a step-by-step guide that candidates can follow to download their CTET Admit Cards.

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, open the admit card download link once available.

Step 3: Once a new page opens, provide all the required details on the login window.

Step 4: Click on the ‘Submit’ button. Your admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download the admit card and take a printout of it to carry in the examination hall.

On the admit cards, candidates will get all the information about their exam centre address, reporting time and other details.

The CTET examination is held in two sessions. The Paper 2 will be conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12 pm, while the Paper 1 will be in the afternoon shift (2:30 pm to 5 pm).

Those who wish to apply for teaching positions in Classes 1 to 5 are required to clear Paper 1, while the second paper is for teaching positions in Classes 6 to 8.
