Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ every relationship is under a 24×7 radar right now. His troubled bond with ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura which led to a legal suit against him brought the rapper under public scrutiny. Though the case was settled out of court, it made everyone wonder if his speculated abusive nature was a common thing in all his relationships, including the one he had with Kim Porter.
Diddy and Kim were together from 1994 to 2007. The former couple share twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, and sons Christian and Quincy Brown. In their more than a decade-long relationship, reportedly some instances showed Combs’ controlling behavior. During the HOT 97 interview, a source who worked closely with Porter and Combs when they were a thing, recalled some disturbing scenarios that highlighted Diddy’s controlling nature.
“I remember specifically how controlling he was over her” ( during the prep for the 2003 MTV Awards red carpet), as reported by Daily Express US.
“He literally was just sitting there, staring at her hair. He wasn’t happy with it the way the curl went in one direction. He was like, ‘I don’t care if I miss the whole show. We are not leaving until we get this curl right.’ And inside, I was just like, ‘Wow, you are really controlling.’ And those are just little signs,” the insider added.
He shared another instance as well, where he was a witness to the former couple’s physical fight.“I went to Atlanta when he had a new album coming out. One night we went to this nightclub, a pimp nightclub… And when we were on our way there, all of a sudden they got into a fight, and he started hitting her with a bottle, and she threw a bottle back,” said the source.
Explaining the instance, Diddy told his employee (the same source) that it was nothing but love. To this, the insider simply said he didn’t see anything.

On September 16, 2024, music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested under the charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Right now, he is locked up in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre as he awaits his trial.
