Diljit Dosanjh gets notice from Telangana Government ahead of his show in Hyderabad: ‘No songs promoting drugs, alcohol’ | Hindi Movie News
Diljit Dosanjh has been keeping busy with his ‘Dil-Luminati’ tour where his shows will take place across 10 cities in India. The singer is supposed to perform in Hyderabad, on November 15, Friday evening. However, just ahead of that, he’s got a notice from the Telangana Government to not sing songs at the event which promote alcohol, drugs, or violence.
The notice further suggests ‘no use of children’ during his show as loud sounds and flashing lights during concert are harmful to them. According to WHO, children under 13 should not be exposed to sound level above 120 db. “Therefore, children should not be used on stage during your live show where peak sound pressure level is above 120db,” said the notice.
Thus this notice is like a formal reminder to them that they should comply with it to ensure a safe and regulation compliant-event. This notice has come based on a representation from a resident of Chandigarh. The notice has been issued by the District Welfare Officer of the Department of Welfare of Women and Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens, Rangareddy.
This comes after the fact that it has come to their notice that Diljit has sung songs already which promote drugs and alcohol during his live show at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium last month. The Delhi show was attended by over 35,000 people on a single day.
Diljit has earlier performed to pack houses in Jaipur and Delhi. His tour also includes other cities like Pune, Mumbai, Guwahati.
