Actress Han So Hee is setting the record straight about the vicious rumours linking her to a troll handle targetting actress Hyeri.
Amidst claims that the actress is behind the social media handle, spreading hate against the fellow film industry star, Han So Hee, through her agency, has denied any involvement in posting malicious comments. On Wednesday, rumours began circulating online suggesting that Han So Hee was behind a private Instagram account, “catsaretheavengers,” which has been leaving derogatory remarks on Hyeri’s official Instagram page.
One of the key reasons for the suspicion was that Han So Hee’s friend, actress Jeon Jong Seo, followed the account in question and its follow list is limited to only 19 accounts, including Han So Hee and other well-known names like Son Suk Goo and Jang Yoon Joo.Additionally, the account was created in March 2024, around the same time as rumours about Han So Hee’s relationship with Ryu Joon Yeol and Hyeri began to surface, further fuelling the controversy.
In response, Jeon Jong Seo’s agency, ANDMARQ, stated, “It’s difficult to confirm as it involves personal matters.”
Meanwhile, Han So Hee’s agency, 9ATO Entertainment, strongly refuted the allegations and also indicated its intent to pursue legal action if the accusations continue. In a statement posted on social media, the agency wrote, “The SNS account exposed by the media is not Han So Hee’s. We will take full legal responsibility if this is proven false. Additionally, we ask that you refrain from speculating without verified facts.”
