IGNOU December 2024 TEE registration deadline extended; direct link to apply here
Initially, the prestigious institution had announced October 16 as the deadline for December TEE 2024. However, it was later shifted to October 20 and now has been further moved to October 27.
Post the October 27 deadline, IGNOU will allow eligible candidates to register for the examination with a late fee of ₹1,100 between October 28 and November 3.

Besides this, the IGNOU has further extended the last date to register for all online distance learning and online mode programmes run by the university till October 31. However, this does not include the semester-based and certificate programmes.
The December 2024 Term-end examinations are likely to commence from December 2 onwards in both pen and paper as well as CBT mode. For more details about the programmes and other updates, students are advised to check the official website at iop.ignouonline.ac.in.
Students can also apply for government scholarships following the confirmation of admission on the national scholarship portal at – scholarships.gov.in.
Meanwhile, the open university has extended the assignment submission deadline till October 31 for all types of courses — ODL, online programmes, GOAL, and EVBB — for December TEE 2024. During this period, both hard copy and soft copy submissions are accepted by the university.
IGNOU Fresh Admission Form 2024: How to Apply?
Step 1: Go to the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Register Online’ tab and select ‘Fresh Admissions’
Step 3: Select the ‘New Registrations’ option
Step 4: Submit all the required details and upload documents
Step 5: Then log in with the details sent to your email or phone and complete the form
Step 6: Choose the program and submit the application form
Step 7: Save and download it for further reference.
Earlier, the university had re-extended the July 2024 fresh admission deadline till October 31. This extension is for all the programmes, excluding the semester-based and certificate programmes. The deadline was previously set for October 15, but it has now been shifted to October 31. Prior to October 15, the registration deadline for the ODL and online courses was September 30.
