Shah Rukh Khan essayed a dual role in the film, directed by Atlee. ETimes rated the film 3.5 out of 5, and the review read, “Promoted as an Anirudh (Ravichander) musical, the film’s background score and songs complement its style and nature. Zinda Banda and Chaleya are the best in the lot, but the latter has the most abrupt placement.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anirudh’s recent outing is ‘Vettaiyan’ starring Rajinikanth. The film hit the big screens on Thursday, October 10. In ETimes’ review, our critic said, “Anirudh’s background score keeps the movie afloat. Of the four songs – Manasilayo and Hunter Vantaar – stand out, the other two fade in the background.”
