Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, the beloved duo from 2012 romantic flick ‘Ishaqzaade‘ , recently reunited, delighting fans with a nostalgic selfie. Kapoor, who portrayed the intense Parma, and Chopra, known for her bold and fiery Zoya, made a memorable Bollywood debut in this Habib Faisal‘s romantic drama.

Arjun wore a bright yellow kurta, while Parineeti stunned in a white ethnic outfit. With the photo, the caption reads, “It was good to be back on set with my favorite partner-in-crime after ages.”
Well the duo’s chemistry in ‘Ishaqzaade’ was a hit with audiences. The film’s success marked a strong start to their Bollywood industry.
In a throwback interview with Bombay Times, Parineeti spoke about her special bond with Arjun Kapoor. She shared that Arjun was her first friend in the industry and revealed that both of them were facing tough personal challenges during the filming of ‘Ishaqzaade’.
She also shared that she got her first taste of stardom while filming ‘Ishaqzaade’, as ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ was released during that time. She credited her success to the support of the ‘Ishaqzaade’ crew, whom she holds close to her heart.
Chopra further explained that her bond with Arjun is like even if they don’t talk for months they always pick up right where they left off. She added that their friendship has only grown stronger as they’ve matured over the years.
Revealing on their journey in the industry, Parineeti shared that Arjun Kapoor has seen her growth from a young newcomer to who she is today. She revealed her protective feelings for him. They communicate openly, arguing or being honest with each other.
