Jigra Full Movie Collection: ‘Jigra’ box office collection day 10: The Alia Bhatt starrer sees a slight jump on Sunday, may end up with a lifetime collection of Rs 40 crore |

Alia Bhatt‘s ‘Jigra‘ had really high expectations when the trailer came out and the movie was announced. The initial teaser of the film along with the songs led to high expectations from the movie despite the fact that it was meant to be niche and a multiplex kind of a film. But one had thought that it may bring in those numbers if there’s good word of mouth.’Jigra’ unfortunately, did not get all positive reviews and thus, the numbers have been average. Infact, this one may be Alia’s lowest grossing film in many years.
‘Jigra’ had a decent opening when it released on October 11, but it continued to see a dip from the first Monday onwards. The opening weekend was also not good considering it was Navratri and Dussehra, which rather affected the business of ‘Jigra’ and ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video both. By the end of its week 1, on Thursday, the movie had minted Rs 22.45 crore. On Friday, it made Rs 1.15 crore. The Saturday numbers were similar as it clocked in Rs 1.7 crore. But there was a slight jump on Sunday. ‘Jigra’ garnered Rs 2 crore on Day 10 according to Sacnilk. Thus, the film’s total collection so far, stands at Rs 27.30 crore.

Meanwhile, the collection of ‘Vicky Vidya..’ after 10 days is around Rs 33 crore. According to trade, ‘Jigra’ can be expected to end up with a lifetime collection of Rs 40 crore which could also be a struggle. But both these movies have a free window at the box office till ‘Singham Again‘ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘ release this Diwali.
