Joy Reid: MSNBC's Joy Reid says Trump govt would shoot Americans; gives Thanksgiving warning to Republicans

MSNBC host Joy Reid cautioned Trump voters that their Dem friends may not feel comfortable around them.

MSNBC host Joy Reid who left X after Donald Trump won the election has now said on air that Donald Trump’s administration will start shooting American citizens. The clip is going viral amid intense speculations that Elon Musk plans to buy MSNBC after he asked its price on X. “Mark Esper, who was Donald Trump’s Secretary of Defense for a while, told him, ‘No, you cannot shoot American citizens.

You can’t have the military shoot American citizens,'” Joy Reid said prompting MAGA supporters clamoring for Elon Musk to buy the network.
Joy Reid’s on-air statement came as she issued a TikTok warning to Republican voters saying that their liberal friends may not welcome them on Thanksgiving because they are rightfully scared of those who voted for Trump.

“He’s put together a cabinet of horrors! People are afraid, they’re not just mad because they lost an election. I think this whole question about this anger, this question about people cutting off family members…you’re missing the point. Republicans control everything. People are scared. I think questioning why people don’t want to have dinner with you, or don’t want to be in a group chat anymore, or don’t want to be your friend, or don’t want to hang out with you after you voted to do this to them, potentially, I think you’re missing the point,” Joy Reid said.

“If you’re voting affirmatively, gleefully for this, people might not feel so confident in you anymore, that’s real and you kind of have to live with that,” Joy said. “If you think you can vote for what they see as their destruction and then demand that they still are cool with you and have Thanksgiving with you, I think you’re kind of missing the point.”
“You may want to step back and think about why people feel the way that they do…If you’re sad that you’re losing friends over this, I don’t know what to tell you,” the MSNBC host said to Republicans.
