Kartik Aaryan opens up about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again clash: ‘Don’t see it as a competition’ | Hindi Movie News

The release date of Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is set for November 1, which also happens to be the Diwali holiday. The film, a follow-up to the 2022 horror comedy, will be released on the same day as Rohit Shetty‘s ‘Singham Again‘. Kartik talked candidly about the clash between the films and how it affects business at a recent event.
During the press conference, Kartik said, “Diwali is such a significant holiday that I believe two films can easily coexist in theaters.While Singham Again falls under the action genre, our film is a horror-comedy. As a moviegoer, I see it as a festival for all of us, with two options on the same day, which is rare in our industry these days”
The actor further stated that the release of two big films doesn’t happen often and he has strong feelings about the success of both films. He added, “Films are not frequently releasing, and we read about this daily. Now, during Diwali, we have two films coming out that audiences have eagerly waited for a long time. I appreciate their film, and I will be watching it too. I hope you all support our film as well. Both films have a strong chance of succeeding; I don’t see it as a competition.”
Kartik concluded by saying, “It’s not a versus between the two films; they are part of significant franchises, and I have great admiration for everyone involved. Ye jo versus chalu hua hai, ye bahut galat hai.”
Directed by Anees Bazmee, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is a horror-comedy film that features Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjai Mishra, Triptii Dimri and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles. ‘Singham Again’, which is also part of a popular franchise, boasts a big star cast.
Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen playing lead roles. It also has special appearances by Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff, who have joined Shetty’s cop-verse recently.
