Pfizer Q2 Results | Net profit rises 6% to ₹158 crore, revenue up 2%
Pfizer Ltd on Monday (October 28) reported a 6.3% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit at ₹158.4 crore for the second quarter that ended September 30, 2024. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Pfizer posted a net profit of ₹149 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The drug firm’s revenue from operations grow 2.3% to ₹588.6 crore against ₹575.2 crore in the year-ago period.

At the operating level, EBITDA was up 3.7% to ₹189.3 crore in the second quarter of this fiscal over ₹182.5 crore in Q2 of FY24.
The EBITDA margin stood at 32.2% in the reporting quarter versus 31.7% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.
The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Pfizer Ltd ended at ₹5,261.45, down by ₹47.25, or 0.89%, on the BSE.
