The tragic death of NCP leader Baba Siddique has left many in the nation in shock, including actress Preity Zinta, who shared her heartfelt condolences on social media. Siddique, a well-known politician and close friend of several Bollywood celebrities, was shot dead by three unknown assailants in Bandra on Saturday night. His passing has prompted an outpouring of grief from many, including stars like Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Preity Zinta.
Taking to Twitter, Preity expressed her sorrow over Siddique’s untimely demise. She wrote, “Completely shocked & saddened to hear about the tragic demise of Baba Siddique Ji. My heartfelt condolences to @zeeshan_iyc & his entire family. May God give peace to his soul & strength to his family in this difficult time. The perpetrators of this horrific crime must be punished severely & swiftly. #RIP #BabaSiddique.”
Several other celebrities also took to social media to mourn Siddique’s passing. Actor Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, “Extremely saddened and shocked beyond words to hear of the tragic demise of Shri #BabaSiddique ji. My heart goes out to @zeeshan_iyc and the entire family. May God give them strength to weather this difficult time. The perpetrators of this horrific crime must be brought to justice.”
Meanwhile, Salman Khan, who shared a close bond with Siddique, arrived at the late politician’s residence to pay his respects. Due to recent threats to his life, security around Salman Khan has been significantly increased, with police patrolling outside his Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. The threats, allegedly linked to the Bishnoi gang, include a previous shooting attempt outside Salman’s residence earlier this year.
