PSU Order Win: NBCC wins multiple contracts worth ₹235.46 crore
Among these orders, NBCC has won an order worth ₹186.46 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. for the renovation of the latter’s corporate office building in Gurugram.
Additionally, NBCC has received an order worth ₹44 crore from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University in Varanasi for the construction of a multipurpose examination hall cum innovation center at the university, according to its exchange filing.
NBCC on October 28 had bagged six redevelopment orders from the Goa government in the first phase worth ₹1,726 crore.
The projects include — redevelopment of Junta House, government garage, circuit house in Panjim, construction of administrative building at Porvarim, redevelopment of government quarters at St Inez and the redevelopment of mini convention centre at Tiswadi in Patto.
NBCC had also secured multiple orders worth around ₹168 crore last month. Its wholly-owned subsidiary HSCC (India) bagged orders worth ₹1,322.48 crore from the Employees State Insurance Corporation.
Earlier in October, the company’s subsidiary was awarded an order for the campus development of Gondwana University at Gadchiroli in Maharashtra. The total value of the order is said to be worth ₹1,000 crore. No further scope or execution timelines have been shared by the company in the exchange filing. On the same day, it also bagged an order worth ₹198 crore from the SAIL Bokaro steel plant.
Shares of NBCC settled flat on Thursday at ₹97.19. The stock has risen about 80% so far in 2024. Over a 12-month period, the stock has jumped over 120%.
