Rajkummar Rao reveals he is not as rich as people assume to be and says, 'Ghar Ki EMI Hai Acchi Khaasi' | Hindi Movie News

Rajkummar Rao, after enjoying the success of two back-to-back films, namely ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Srikanth’, that have performed well at the box office, has his latest release, Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which premiered over the weekend.
In a recent interview with Samdish Bhatia on his YouTube channel, the ‘Stree 2’ actor candidly shared that, despite his film’s successes, he is not as wealthy as many might assume.Rajkummar Rao revealed that he isn’t as wealthy as some may believe other Bollywood actors are. He explained that he cannot simply walk into a showroom and buy a car worth Rs 6 crore, as he is still paying the EMI on his house.
The actor remarked that people might assume he has Rs 100 crore, but in reality, that’s not the case. He emphasized that he has significant expenses, particularly the hefty EMI for his home, clarifying that while he has money, it’s not enough to make such extravagant purchases on a whim.
Rao shared that although he could consider purchasing a car worth Rs 50 lakh, such a decision would require serious discussion. He indicated that, at present, he could comfortably buy a car priced around Rs 20 lakh.
Meanwhile, ‘Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ is currently performing steadily at the box office. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film follows a couple who misplaces their intimate video recorded during their honeymoon. It also starred Tripti Dimri, Mallika Sherawat, and Vijay Raaz in significant roles.
