Sara Ali Khan gives credit to Kedarnath for changing her life: 'Everything I am has come from that place' | Hindi Movie News

Sara Ali Khan has talked about the deep spiritual connection she shares with Kedarnath, where she had shot for her debut film Kedarnath. The actress at a recent event went on to describe how her first visit to the site was a life-altering experience when all credits for laying the foundation for my career and personal growth were laid.
Reflecting on her bond with the holy destination, Sara shared, “The first time I went to Kedarnath, I wasn’t an actor or even myself. Everything I am has come from that place. As long as the ‘bulawa’ (call) keeps coming, I will keep visiting, returning, and working.”
Sara is known for her spiritual journeys to temples across India, but Kedarnath holds an unparalleled significance in her life. Despite sharing glimpses of temple visits often on social media, she has been criticized and trolled for her decisions frequently. The girl, being the daughter of a Muslim father, Saif Ali Khan, and a Hindu mother, Amrita Singh, is often criticized for her decisions online.
Referencing the negative against her, Sara said in one of her earlier interviews that trolling has become a source of entertainment for some people. However, she just doesn’t seem to mind that too much, summing up the “background noise” that keeps her from being bothered as long as her work continues to be appreciated.
On the work front, Sara was last seen in ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, directed by Kannan Iyer, along with Abhay Verma and Sparsh Shrivastav. She will soon be seen in Anurag Basu’s ‘Metro In Dino’, opposite Aditya Roy Kapur.
