‘Singham Again‘ is one of the highly anticipated films of the year and there has been more excitement ever since the trailer was released. The trailer depicted that it is Rohit Shetty’s modern-day take on Ramayana. Hence, the team was invited for a traditional Raavan dahan ritual in Delhi on Dussehra. Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and director Rohit Shetty were spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina Airport on Saturday morning.
They were en route to participate in the traditional Ravan Dahan ceremony at Delhi, a significant event marking the Dussehra festival.
Kareena Kapoor Khan made a striking appearance in a simple yet elegant traditional sharara set, complemented by a green dupatta. Her look was accessorized with dotting earrings, a bindi, and stylish black sunglasses. In contrast, Ajay Devgn opted for a casual ensemble of grey track pants and a white t-shirt, while Rohit Shetty sported blue jeans paired with a black shirt. Both the men also donned fashionable sunglasses, adding to their laid-back vibe as they prepared for the festive occasion.
According PTI, the Luv Kush Ramleela Committee extended an invitation to the ‘Singham Again’ team to perform the Ravan Dahan on October 12. Arjun Singh, president of the committee, stated, “To mark the victory of good over evil, this time at the Lav Kush Ramleela we invited ‘Singham Again’ director Rohit Shetty and its stars Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan. They have accepted our invitation and will perform the Ravan Dahan at the event on October 12.” This performance is not just a ceremonial act; it symbolises the triumph of good over evil in line with traditional narratives.
As ‘Singham Again’ draws inspiration from the ancient Indian epic Ramayana. The film creatively adapts this classic tale for modern audiences. In this installment, Ajay Devgn reprises his role as Bajirao Singham, who faces off against Arjun Kapoor’s character, embodying a contemporary version of Raavan. The narrative intertwines themes of good versus evil and features Tiger Shroff as Lakshman, who accompanies Singham on his journey. Ranveer Singh takes on the role of Hanuman, further enriching the storyline inspired by the Ramayana.
