Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are busy promoting their upcoming action series, ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny‘, which will premiere on November 7. The trailer for the series thrilled fans recently, and movie buffs are eagerly waiting to watch Samantha and Varun in an action-packed plot by Raj & DK. Varun shared some exciting details about the action sequences in the show.
At the trailer launch, Varun revealed that Samantha and he worked tirelessly to make a particular scene impeccable.The duo shot the scene within 11 minutes without any cuts. Varun mentioned that this intense action sequence will be part of the climax of the series.

Varun also discussed his request to Aditya Chopra for an action film. He expressed his interest in being cast in an action movie; however, Chopra informed him that he preferred to offer acting roles rather than action roles at that moment. Despite this, Varun persisted in his request, prompting Chopra to explain that he couldn’t allocate a significant budget for such a project as Varun was not yet at that level. The actor later inquired about the budget, and Chopra indicated that a substantial investment was necessary to create a major action film.
Directed by Sita R Menon and Raj & DK, ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ will also be available in Telugu and other major Indian languages. The series features Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar in key roles.
