‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video‘ is now in its third week and the buzz around the film has slowly begun to fade away. Hence, it came in as a pleasant surprise to see that the movie has been able to make a decent growth over its third weekend.
It had made around Rs 60 lakhs on Friday and saw a good growth on Saturday by making Rs 1.2 crore. On Sunday as well, the film made the same amount of Rs 1.2 crore. Thus, ‘Vicky Vidya…’ has now reached a number of Rs 40.2 crore net in India.

This number could have been much better if the film had passed on the right message of it being a family entertainer before release and could have generated more footfalls from the mass centres. There was scope for the film to perform better in two-tier, three tier cities and areas like UP, Delhi, Gujarat.
With just a few more days left for Diwali, Vicky Vidya…may end up with a lifetime collection of Rs 41 to 42 crore. As with the release of Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, ‘Vicky Vidya..’ and ‘Jigra’ will lose the steam that is even left, in any case there was hardly any steam generated by both these movies.
