Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, and Govinda were seen together in a throwback picture. On his 53rd birthday, Govinda shared an old photo from the sets of Hum (1991) on his Twitter handle, in which he is seen standing alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth. Through this picture, the actor reflected on old times. For the caption, Govinda wrote, “Wonder what I was thinking.”
After some difficult years in the late 1980s, Hum became Big B’s most successful tentpole film of the early 1990s, making the idea of a sequel exciting news.While Dil dominated in 1991, Hum was the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film at the box office that year. The film was directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, and at the 1992 Filmfare Awards, Amitabh Bachchan won Best Actor for his performance in the film.
Govinda and Big B also acted together in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which was released in 1998.
